steering
Im looking to upgrade my steering on my 1990 f150.. it has equal length front end set up, with crossover steering... the steering is really loose.. whats the best route to go a hi flow pump, w/ resivor? do I also need an aftermerket box? thanks..

What do you mean by "really loose"? Is the steering geometry correct? Are the alignment specs good?

Have you figured out where the play is? It sounds like you need to diagnose the problem before you start throwing parts at it.

from what I can tell everything is turning good into the box, but its not pushing the pitman arm, as much as its spinning into the box...

Sounds like you need a new steering gear.
Sickrick, and the Displaced Desert Racers.
Not sick in that "extreme" kind of way, its more of a weak stomach thing.
