Here's some specs

Currie 9" 4130 housing Full Floating front and rear axles with f250 unit bearing ends.

King 3" 3 tube Bypass, coilover, bumpstop at each corner.

105" wheelbase, 18" travel rear, 13.5" travel front.

Howe Powersteering w/hydro assist and quick steer.

Stroked 6cyl, 727 trans, 249 (all wheel drive) tcase.

Some of your specs (as described) don't seem Jeepspeed Challenge (1700) legal, based on the 2007 rules.

Shocks (4.1.3.7 & 4.1.4.6), travel amounts (4.1.3.4 & 4.1.4.4), and the stroked I-6 (4.1.5.2), specifically.

This car (jeep) is being built under the 3700 jeepspeed cup rules, which is more of an unlimited class.

Some of your specs (as described) don't seem Jeepspeed Challenge (1700) legal, based on the 2007 rules.

Shocks (4.1.3.7 & 4.1.4.6), travel amounts (4.1.3.4 & 4.1.4.4), and the stroked I-6 (4.1.5.2), specifically.

Like matscot said (he would know he is the other guy building it with me), the truck is being built for the new Jeepspeed 3 unilimited class. There was a recent article in dirtsport about the class. It is basically unlimited, just no modifications to the frame and be based on a jeep frame and engine. With the success and popularity of the jeepspeed1 class I'm excited to see what the new unlimited class can become. There are a few new vehicles being built for the class and a few old factory jeeps that are rumored to be coming out of hiding for next season.

I was hoping to make parker, but in an effort to not rush the truck i've managed to borrow a very cool old jeep to get some points. Wanna come chase me and matt around parker in an old factory cherokee? I should be all set and ready by the second jeepspeed (BITD stateline race) If i get it done early maybe i'll take it down to san felipe to shake 'er down. We'll see. When's butch gonna run again?

Truck has been on hold the last month or so. I got it back from Twisted Tin a couple weeks back who finished up all the panel work...it came out great! I don't have any good pics right now of the panel work and i'm storing it in a friends garage so it'll have to wait. I didn't think I could make parker without rushing it so I worked out a deal to run the fabtech jeepspeed 1 car in my class at parker to get some points. I have spent the last couple weeks going through it to make sure its ready for the race. Should be a good truck.

i will have some more update pics of the wrangler after parker.
