Be nationally recognized/win $$
I know I should probably post this on glamisdunes because the people on this site are more of a grit eating bare metal type. And I am just a lowley prospect so I probably should be posting less. But I could use some help on selecting a color scheme for my new car.
Probably sounds a little sissyboy, but I would like to do something 'classic' looking' not super flashy.
I was originally thinking dark metallic grey, black chassis, black KMC wheels, etc. Or, maybe red panels etc.
Anyway, you guys have seen everything out there. How about throwing out your favorite idea for a color scheme - panels, chassis, dash, dust shields, exhaust, etc. And if I go with your idea, I will send you a gift cert for $100 to your choice of store, restaurant, adult bookstore, etc. Also, I will immortilize your creativity by posting pics of the finished car (april completion) on RDC.
I hope I get a good response, otherwise I will feel shunned and have to go back to glamisdunes.

Red,metallic silver and black are a great color combo. Tim Somosan formally of Traders Trucks did a 72 chevy 1/2 ton in these colors about 18 years ago, It still sticks out in my mind as the best balanced color scheme to date.
Don't be so hard on yourself,..after all Glamis is part RDC,.. just not much 4130 and WD-40.
