Re: Tube bender dies
It will handle it no problem. I would purchase those die sets for sure...and as many others as you can afford. Pro-tools used to give a discount if you bought three sets...ask them about it. 1 1/4 is one I am always using too.

Re: Tube bender dies
i have a pro-tools bender and it works perfect plus the jd2 dies fit in it too plus it was way cheaper then a jd bender. i think with shipping a stand a handle degree ring and a 1.5 die it was around 850 shipped to my door. The radius is pretty much how tight you wanna bend your tube and what youre building. win the lotto and buy every die you can haha then all your answers will be solved..

Another question. They sell 3 versions of the Bend Tech program.Which one do you recommend?I have "Solid Works" for design if that makes any difference.
I really do appreciate everybody taking the time to answer my questions.

i just priced out a 5 die set from them , with the top of the line bending program , shipped the kit was $1800 , it was dies from 3/4" to 1 5/8" ( dragcar sizes ) i,ve decided to design and build my own , might as well i have access to a cnc lathe , and a cnc laser , i may build a 105 version first it would be nice to have a bender at home , i would be so much further ahead on my vega .

In my opinion, if you have Solid Works you don't need bend-tech.
