RJ & JJ on SportsCenter
Forget Late Model and Craftsman trucks, motocross and short course off road racing are the keys to becoming a Nascar Cup champion:

Re: RJ & JJ on SportsCenter
Thanks, Steve! two things crossed my mind when i saw that is, 1. Jimmie is a Baller, so-cal desert kid turned back to back cup champ. And 2. who cannot watch those clips of stadium trucks and not long for those days!

Yeah those mteg trucks look great under the stadium lights with the body panels still on.
What I find interesting is how people generally think of go-Karts, midgets, sprint cars and late model as the way to develop skill for nascar. But if Jimmy keeps winning, before you know it kids who dream of getting to the nascar cup series someday will be asking their parents to buy them single buggies and pro lites! ...maybe Rodrigo Ampudia and Casey Curry are future Nascar Cup champions???
