Re: Obama's Communist Mentor
I'm amazed he hasn't been accused of being a baby rapper yet! This cut & paste rhetoric is pretty boring. I would much rather hear what good the candidate you want to elect is going to do for us. Really instead of negative BS and hate how about some positive about someone?

That would require thinking for themselves, not an easy task as the talking heads havn't told them what to think yet.

Im not sure about this Obama character. IMO, the guy looks like wuss. Im not sure if he has the "proverbial" nads to do anything. So I am really looking over what this guy has to say, who he hangs with. I also did some research and have found his church that he attends. Its not the most "pro American" place by their own admission. We should all check out these potential nominees and where they stand and the circles they keep before your vote for any of them.

There is hope for America, too bad you are in the minority. Yes people do research the candidates and who they are beholden to.
I still think this two party system is a total mess that needs to be challanged. There needs to be an open system that allows others without party affiliations to be major prospects. As it is now we have a choice of wasting a vote or choosing between two idiots that sucked up to the party leadership. The founders of our country are turning in there graves(so to speak)

Negative BS and Hate? How does listing a person's associations qualify as hate speach? If pjc has links showing BO has a socialist background, does that mean you don't believe it or you don't care if its true? If Mccain is a member of the NRA, I dont get offended or consider it hateful, its just a matter of fact. Do you think BO's socailist roots are something to be ashaimed of? He doesn't, so how is listing it hateful?

McCain's not bad, I wouldn't be upset if he won, so long as he doesn't give in to the religious right in order to pander votes.
You have to tell me sometime how the religious right worries you so much. In my observation when it comes down to threats against existing liberties, the left-wing, enviro-radicals take the lead, hands down.
Who do you want that has a reasonable shot at winning?
Well, I am completely disappointed with the percentage of the American populace that continues to look for and fall for symbolism over substance. Obviously I consider BO to be all symbolism, so far.
Instead of all the negativity and mierda why don't you educate us about your choice? Or does OB have you so worried there is no time for education, only mud-slinging?
Come on Travis, you know I will stick to facts. You should too. If ya don't like the articles I post, you know I always leave the door open and welcome healthy and intelligent debate.

Issue #1, is continuing to be on a strong offensive against radical Islam, from terrorists themselves to sponsor nations.
I see McCain on that platform. I see BO, by his own words willing to reel back to "diplomacy". History dictates that as a failure.
Now, your turn.

It is fact. Instead of shooting the messenger why not pick up your thinking cap and attempt a line of debate.
It's really sad how screwed up the Republican party has become because of the religious nutjobs.
I keep seeing this reference and I need to know how you think the religious right is threatening you.

I dunno, when was the last time Rush beheaded someone, or used someone w downs syndrome in a suicide bombing, or murdered 3000+ Americans. I think you need to use a different example instead of comparing people with different views than your own to murderous Islamic radicals.

It's really sad how screwed up the Democratic party has become because of all the homos, eco-freaks, and baby-killers IMHO

I think we should be fair to Republicans here. I personally don't think they are as beholden to the religious right as they used to be ... or maybe pretend they are. There was a point in the 80's where abortion was really on the table as an issue (in that RoevWade was getting tested) but those days are pretty much in the past. All that religious voters have gotten from Republican leadership anytime in the recent past is a 3 week debate on the Senate floor about gay yada or burning yada or any of the big red buttons that Republican leaders have gotten used to pushing to get a certain segment of the populace to automatically vote for them. This usually happens shortly after major elections. And then, these issues are pretty much put away ... until the next election cycle begins.
So I personally don't think religious voters have gotten their money's worth out of this scenario. And its a pretty well known fact that most Republican politicians eat at the same fancy pants restaurants in Georgetown and hire the same gay Chiefs of Staff (apparently a luxury item in DC) as Democrats; even when they fly home on the weekends and get their picture taken with a gun or go off about gay marriage in some speech that their freakin gay COS probably wrote for them.
And I think many religious voters are becoming aware of this. For what its worth, one of the fastest growing segments of enviromentally minded voters are now Evangelical Christians under the age of 30.
So, no matter which candidate any of you support, the political ground under our feet definitely seems to be shifting. And that's a good thing.
