Has anyone heard about a new 16 chasis design by Travis Fletcher at Race Specialty??? I am looking for photos or information...thanks.

I dont know what more you can do to 1600 that has not been done. Simplicity is the key to a competitive 1600.

The only thing I can see to make it simpler and more reliable is to remove the shocks, one less thing to worry about....JUST KIDDING.......Almost true...not really...

I am by no means shooting down any effort to make a better race car. 1600 cars have been the same since the 80s. Your just limited by the front and rear torsion housings and Stock like suspension. No matter what you have to tie into those points. Thats what makes it difficult to come up with a new design. Im intrested in seeing what they have come up with.

I like what Kreager did with the rounded roof line. It feels like there is more room in there.
