seems pretty dumb to put the races on the same dates as corr...
Things like this will be bad for everyone involved... It does make the decision easy for those of us that will be racing in another CORR class... I would Brent like to participate in a series outside CORR in the new ELITE, but so far that's not feasible for us.
The marriage between CORR and MMR has ended, and now MMR is making the kids choose between CORR and MMR. CORR Races will not be run by MMR, they will be run by CORR. Why not agree to alternate weekends and provide the kids the benefit of racing in both the CORR Races and the new MMR Glen Helen Challenge Series.
I worked out a schedule with dates that don't conflict and it would allow the kids to race in CORR, MMR, Podium Productions, and the M4SX without having any conflicting dates. This schedule is in the attached Word Document.

Reason: added Word Doc
Nice schedule proposal desert tech. Something like that would probably never happen since it is a my way or the hiway attitude and it was probably done to match corr's scheudle that way out of spite or saltiness.
The way I am told CORR will do it is one class of stockers and 1 class of modifieds so even if attendance is low, there will be plenty of cars in the classes.
Nothing is going to change with the Trophy Karts and UTVs this year with CORR. The only change with the Trophy Karts is that other people can build them and there will probably be a few new karts racing. The same classes will run and there will probably be a few minor safety changes recommended this year. The modified class will most likely have more entries as well.
When you say other people can build them.....does that mean there is another way to get truck bodies now other than having to buy a Trophy Kart and have a serial number? We have been kicking around building one for my daughter, since we have the means.....do they just have to meet the specs/safety rules for the classes now? Thanks in advance!

From what I under stand the details are still being worked out. CORR has elected a committee to set the rules. This may take a while so if you want to race the full season it may be necessary to buy a truck (I would buy used). One of the kids on our team will be racing mod after its built but until the rules are set were not doing any thing. He will most likely start the season in JR 2 and then switch. Maybe even race both if its set up so we can.
I also understand CORR cant use the trophy Kart name so they are looking for a new name. Any one got an idea?
