    Dry Sump Venting

Trying to find the correct way to vent our motor from the sump. Now the vent line comes right from the top of sump and turns down to the bottom of the frame. When the oil level is at the bottom of the baffle plate we loose a lot of oil thru the vent. New motor, back pressure is OK

    Re: Dry Sump Venting

Run all your normal breather lines from the valve covers and oil filler neck to a closed container. Out of that container run a -12 hose to the resivoir. From the resivoir route a breather line that is similar to your fuel cell vent. That way any excess oil can flow out safely and not all over your car. hope this helps.
