I had a ton of work done in TJ. It was don by a friends familly who practices down there. Everything turn out just fine. The only problem was it's been about 8 yrs and everything needs to be redone. It's kind of like getting body work done down thier. It doesn't last very long or look to clean!

There are many excellent doctors in Baja, and very affordable, but also many charlatans. I recommend you go to a place where someone has already gone….
I would ask woundedyak for that contact, nothing beats word of mouth marketing…

Just go to the free clinic. There has to be one in your area. If not come to San Diego.

Re: Dental Work in Baja, Good or Bad ?
My moms friend just had a ton of dental work done in TJ. It was within walking distance from the San Yasidro crossing. He said they were 1/4 the cost and it was a clean profesional place. He had to go down 3 times to get everything complete and was satisfied everytime. So far he hasn't had any radio interference and nothing has fallen out yet.
PM me and I will get you some contact info.

you might want to look at a university with a dental school in your area.

My mother goes down there all the time for dental work - crowns, etc. At least 1/3 to 1/4 the cost. She also said it was very clean and equipped just like a U.S. dentist. She can't remember the details but she goes to Rosarito Bch - all she can remember is that as you are going down the main drag turn right (towards ocean) at the carpet store that is purple, on the right is a one-story green building with white trim.

In this case I don’t think that applies here…..Medical services in Mexico can be quite competitive because malpraxis insurance is way cheaper here.
Just be careful who does the job, there is also bad practitioners. Go with recommendations…..seems here that are many to go with.
