Raikkonen turns down Toyota's offer for a drive next year,

I'm really starting to become a pessimist in regards to USF1 when I continue to read articles like these.

Meaning that you don't think Kyle Busch will cut it as an F1 driver? By the way, has Robby you know who ever been discussed as a driver for F1, I don't mean now but back in his open wheel racing days? Just wondering...?
Yes, Kimis salary is a hard sell for many of the F1 teams, I wonder if he would consider a much lower salary and a competetive car?

As a good F1 driver? No, I don't. I think his name is being thrown out more to attract the attention of potential sponsors and the NASCAR crowd. I don't think Busch is going to be leaving behind what he has now to go get beat up on in Europe. It's a completely different discipline. Look what happened with Michael Andretti back in the early 90's. I consider Andretti a far better road racer than Busch.
Yesterday, I received the new issue of Racer magazine. there was a two page interview with Peter Windsor and what I read wasn't pretty. Keep in mind the article was written back in the middle of Sept. He said they are just now reaching a point where they had hoped to be back in Feb. So they are already 7 months behind in the development of the team, no car, no drivers and I doubt Chad Hurley is planning to fund this entire thing out of his own pocket.
The only U.S. driver who even has a FIA superlicense is Scott Speed and he's racing NASCAR. Nobody wants to sign on with USF1 until they have something tangible to show. Right now all they have are neat pictures on a computer screen. So they are now 6 months behind with less than 6 months to go before the start of the 2010 season.

Barichello and Hulkenberg to Williams next year.
Don't bother me. I'm wasting potential.
Life's a grave, dig it.
This will give you a taste of the Abu Dhabi GP from another perspective:

I'll be heading to Yas Marina Circuit on Thursday to finally get settled in after the GP2 testing last weekend. The circuit is buzzing at the moment and miles of deep green lawns are being laid everyday! All 50,000 seats have been sold out and the F1 is on everyone's lips at the moment.
I have have to say that it's brilliant being right in the thick of it!
Rumors in german media state that Mercedes and Mclaren split sooner as expected and get involved with Brawn big time.
Supposedly is Mercedes not at good terms with Ron Denis anymore for multiple reasons.
(veto by McLaren that Mercedes supplies engines for Red Bull, the new McLaren Super Sportscar is not Mercedes powered, refusal from Denis to pay agreed on 200 million for the 40% Mercedes share on Mclaren when cooperation contract ends)
Supposedly lawyers work on an early exit option right after the last race and only engines will be supplied until end of contract.
Indicators are a relative large promotion campaign of Mercedes for the Brawn championship last weekend at the DTM Masters and media as well statements that Rosberg will 100% be in F1 next year
This gonna be interesting to watch.....
Has anyone seen the Abu Dhabi pit road exit? I think it's awesome. Just hope no one crashes in the tunnel.

Appartently there isn't a speed limit through the tunnel. Nick Heidfeld got a little loose while in the tunnel during practice and it has raised some concerns as to what may happen during the race if someone crashes there.
