I thought so when we were racing but now I think that it was a SNORE vehicle.

We were tappin the revlimiter out in hidden valley, clear air just flyin' (so we thought) when all of the sudden we see a chopper hovering about a 1/4 mile in front of us. Were thinkin "cool, they're video taping us" all of the sudden one of the Baldwin Trucks ROCKETS past us. So much for fame LOL!

This wasn't Collins but same scenario... (Sorry, no sound, one of the few gremlins we had)

If you can't see when racing a Stock Full truck, you just have to stop. They're too fragile to fly IFR. Little trail stuff you can flog through in other cars will yardsale a stock production vehicle.

the problem with that is a lot of times there will be another TT or 1 car chasing the first one, if you stop in the middle of the course it can cause a bid problem.

If you can't see you can't see. We always try to get to the side of the course if we can but we're not going to wood it in zero vis just because of the possiblility that someone behind us might be on the gas in zero vis. If a TT or other fast car is coming up as well in a situation like that, it doesn't matter if we're going 20mph or zero, he's still going way faster than us and if he can't see where he's going he's going to hit us. If anybody thinks that GPS is radar, please do us all a favor and find a different hobby.

That camera angle is perfect in that car. You can see out the entire windscreen and see the mirror with driver and co-driver heads bouncing around. It gives all kinds of perspctives of the car and course.
