    K&N Prefilter Maintenance

Does it need to be cleaned with the cleaning stuff for the airfilter, or is it a throw on and go item?

I'm not here, nor was I here, nor will I ever be here.

The one I purchased was already oiled, a throw in and go.

I always oil the pre filter with regular filter oil. Do not run dry, tried it, not good. Wash in warm soapy water, rinse, air dry then run again. You don't have to oil every time if you wash with soapy water, maybe every other time
