I just bought a REVO a couple months ago too! Oh well I don't think these would handle true off-road terrain quite as well anyway...like it was mentioned they're better for rock-free short course action!

How so? 1/10 buggies have similar suspension and size tires. You just most likely couldn't go where those monster trucks like the Jato can go. It says these are brushless and lipo ready. That would be an insanely fast truck. I'd love to see a spec class of these take off at the local track.

    Re: Traxxas Slash

Well the REVO is a giant. It's the dirt equivalent to the JATO with a bunch of ground clearance and big tires to handle the rocks you'd find at Barstow. I don't know just my opinion. This looks like it has tires slightly wider then what you'd find on a 1/10 sedan. I'm sure you could take this thing out and maneuver around enough that it won't be a problem...but with the REVO I just go over everything! You know, a nitro Slash would be pretty sweet. I hate charging batteries, though I did grow up racing electric RC cars.

After my segment of the last MORE Balls Out 250 I took out the REVO and was running it around our pit area. I was racing the vehicles from the 2nd group down the course when they came by. It was a lot of fun and is a good way to pass the time. A near by dog wasn't a huge fan though.

People saying the price may be as low as $180. Well compared to the $600 I payed for my 3.3 REVO setup, that isn't bad at all.

Well it looks badass, and I like the way it powerslides. It just doesn't seem very fast though. I'm sure upgrading to LiPo and brushless would make it haul ass, but what about performance right out of the box? The Losi Desert truck looks alot quicker.

I can't tell for sure, but it looks like all of the frames are slowed down for effect. Out of the box it comes with a 12 turn mod motor which will be good, but I'd prefer the maintenance free route with brushless.

So far this car has hit the nail on the head as far as realism goes. The Losi car may be quick, but looks like most of the other RC trucks... awkward looking with tires too big and a-arms too wide.
