Got home from work and found that my dog Shady had passed on sometime today. She was curled up in a ball in her favorite spot in the back yard with her eyes closed so it appears she passed on peacefully. A while back her vet told me she was terminal. Shady was old (I had her for 14 years and the pound estimated her age at 2-3 yrs old when i got her.) I have been monitoring her condition and knowing this day was coming and I have been careful to give her lotsa love and take her for lotsa car rides (her favorite thing).
She was a really cool dog and truly mans best friend.
Rest In Peace Shady.
