Mechanical injection is a pain in the arse. It has to be adjusted constantly, even worse if you're on Alky.

Hey Fly, this is a Chevelle we started building at the old shop I worked at. Got to cut up a 69 four speed big block car to make it. It was never finished though, owner ran out of money and now it sits covered in dust.

780 is pretty healty on 91 octane. What kind of boost are you getting out of that thing? 5-7psi?

Can flip the pully and make over a thousand with race gas?

GM 572 with BDS 8:71 10% over driven w/2 BDS/Holley 850cfm. 780hp on 91 oct.

The car my dad was building had electronic injection. Putting a mechanical injection on a blown motor is like going to Paris buying the girl a couple drinks and not spending the extra $20 on a private dance. You already spent X amount of $ why not finish it right.... Just my .02.
