Golf is fun.....that is all.

I can think of ATLEAST a few things that are more fun than golf and hanging out with Dan is one of them, reading Penthouse is another and going on long road trips with mike as the driver is another so yes as you can tell i personally think golf is lame based on the afore mentioned activities I would find more fun.... /story. that how ya do it fish?

I have said the same thing until a few months ago. Its actually fun when you try and play it right and actually play with people who are good. Its cool to just be out on the course for 4-5 hours drinking a couple beers and having fun.

Watching it is still pretty lame unless its Tiger IMO.....

Still haven't matched my 84 from twin oaks, but I gotta say my 90 on a tougher course was pretty rewarding- and you can't beat hanging out for 4-5 hrs with good friends.... Of course, playing a round of 18 on an empty course in 2.5 hrs was pretty awesome...

My hatered just comes from Im sure not knowing how to play and not really wanting to learn. I looks kinda cool I just really have no interest in it. Seems slow, relativly boring, expensive, snobbish and i do not have the correct nor have I ever used good equipment to try it. id rather spend $25 at the moto track for 4 or 5 hours with friends. Im sure it also has somethign to do with my schedule the only time id be able to go is on the weekend and again i can think of other things to do. on top of that another hobby just means less time for the other hobbies that i already do not seem to have enough time for.

I used to think trap shooting / skeet was boring but i did it a few times and its fun

Ya its one of those things that you have to do a few times to realize what its all about really. Looking at it from the outside it looks dumb as hell.

Go to the golf course and try that...much more challenging to shoot a white golf ball instead of the orange clays....

It's maddening- its kind of like off-road racing: expensive, frustrating, time consuming and you're always chasing after improvement once you're hooked- and once you're hooked, well, it's bad, lol!
