LBR Tundra Prerunner - In Progress
Here are some shots of my new (well, slightly used) Tundra undergoing transformation at Solo Motorsports. When it's all done it will have Long Travel all the way around, 500+ HP (TRD Supercharged), 37's, and be (hopefully) a good all-around prerunner/chase vehicle/daily driver.

Thanks to our friends and sponsors who have helped out in various ways -
TRD, BFG, Hella, Sway-A-Way, Camburg, Deaver, Eibach, Light Racing, AMP Research, and of course the great guys at Solo who are doing all the hard work.
Oops, forgot to mention my wife for letting me do this and my kids because I'm spending their college fund.
Hopefully it will be done by the MORE Day & Night 500 so it can chase the race truck. And then go to Baja to test out the new security cameras Sal got put in.

Thanks Jon - It won't hang with your Jeep, but it's a driver not a racecar. I'm hoping to be able to tow the race truck to Baja, chase, and then pull it home.

Nope. Paul at Solo caught that as soon as he got the arms from Camburg. Jerry said they are pre-production, but we didn't expect that. Solo had to do numerous fixes (there weren't even shock tabs when we got them).
Paul's going to clearance that area and re-weld it before go out to powdercoat.
He's also going to clearance some of the sheet metal some more to make sure the wheels don't rub when I stuff it.

Did u guys have a deal with Camburg for pre=production parts? If not take it back and get the right ones
No reason why you guys have to modify their work...
Nikita Khrushchev said"We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism. "

Jerry did give me a deal on the arms, we just had a slight misunderstanding about how "pre" is "pre-production".
Thankfully Paul is a pro and he cycled it all inside and outside, with the camber adjusters in every position, and found the problems.
One thing that was a bummer is the wheel travel. We were hoping for 15-16", and it looks like we're going to get 13-14 depending on where the camber adjusters are set.
Still more than our 7S truck though.

So what was the limiting factor? Axles? tire clearance? Both?

Re: LBR Tundra Prerunner - In Progress
Not tire clearance. I was ready to go down to 35's if necessary to keep the wheel travel. It seems like the axles are binding on ths inner CV, but as I mentioned, these are pre-production parts, and the final kit will no doubt have these issues resolved.
The clearance issue with the wheels was caused by my desire to use the TRD forged 17" wheels, which have a 50mm offset; Most off road wheels have 0 or no more than 25mm offset, which puts the wheel out farther. Also, Tundras have 18" wheels stock, so only a few 17's will fit over the brakes, and all of them (except the TRD wheels) have less offset.
