C1 Lites Congradulates Karl Scanlan "again"mdr Kotd
Once Again Karl Scanlan Comes Out On Top In The C1 Lites . We Thought Brian Had It Raped Up On The Last Lap When We Got To The Finnish Line Here Came Karl . The Hole Race We Were Only Seconds Apart In The Pits . We Pitted All 4 Cars And It Kept Us On Our Toes All Cars Were Coming In At Once For Fuel It Was Busy But Fun . Every Lap The Guys Would Change Positions But They Could Not Open A Gap. Clint Barry "owner Of Pwr" Was Driving His Ars Off For The Win And Started To Yard The Rest Of The Class When The Power Steering Servo Came Loose And Loosened A Fitting Loosing All His P/s Fluid . With A 4 Minute Pit Stop For Repairs He Fell To 3rd And Couldn't Make Up The Time . Tom Helwig From Paradise Watersports Lost A Fuel Pump On The Second Lap And Got A Dnf . The Class Is Taking Shape And Showing To Be Very Competitive . Look Forward To More Racing And Good Luck Top All C1 Lite Drivers And Owners

At the T250 the winning C1L car turned 2 hour laps (84 miles) and the winning 1600 car was around 1:46 minutes.
I'm guessing that a lot of the difference is that the C1Ls had to work their way through all of the stock classes traffic. I think that they all passed us at once flying in formation.
