No Safari Rally for 2003?
i hear they're pulling the safari rally out of the line-up for 2003 WRC, and running it as a separate stand alone race...kind of disappointing isnt it?? i wonder how dependent kenya is on the rally economically.

Re: No Safari Rally for 2003?
The WRC has elected to run a new rally in Turket instead of the Safari. They almost didn't run the Safari last year, but Inmarsat picked up the tab, so they ran it. It's a pity, it's a classic event. I would imagine the logistics were astronomical. Cutting it, probably made the budget look a lot better.
Happy motoring, Tim
