VORRA Yerington 300
i have some questions about the VORRA Yerington 300. and im having trouble making an account on the VORRA forum.
who here is going?
my dad and i are going to spectate... do we need to sign any papers or anything or do we just show up and start spectating?
why is a 300 mile race 4 days long?
camping there is normal right?
are the pits closed to spectators?
and if there is a place to find all this info, where? i cant find any info on the race.

Re: VORRA Yerington 300
nahhhhhh go look at there site... vorra.net.
they are saying that they are very confident that they have a buyer, and they are saying that Yerington 300 WILL happen.
im still not 100% sure that its happening, i would like a confirmation, but from what there saying, yerington will happen.

We will be there in our 1600 car. As far as spectating you can just go out and watch unless you will be shooting photos then idk what your supposed to do there. The reason for four days i am not sure other than to have a good time. camping is normal other than i think no open fires u have to have a pit. Pits are open on race day. Hope this helps.

Re: VORRA Yerington 300
Yerington is on.
Friday night is the welcoming party and drawing.
Saturday is tech and registration, pre-running, and traditionally a parade thru town.
Sunday at daybreak is the quad start. Cars and trucks start at about 10 am.
Monday is the awards (this could be Sunday night too).
Camping is free anywhere. Spectating is free. Pits are open to the public. Course maps should be available at registration and just ask anyone where the best place to watch might be.
Once again, this schedule is the way it's been for over 30 years but with the new owner something may change.

awesome race for spectating. very laid back atmosphereand many cool spots to watch. go the day before the race and check out the pits and course to see where you like best. have fun and always be careful near the track on race weekend.

Don't watch or park on the outside of a turn, even if there's a big berm. Just don't!
Hey! You kids!! Get OFF my driveway!!! If you can't go away happy, just go away!
