The first thing I did when I got on RDC this morning was post congrats to Heidi for a well deserved win. Even if our truck had zero mechanical issues she still would have won, that girl is fast. But who doesn't like to pick themselves to win a race? Nothing wrong with a little positive thinking to get the team psyched up, especially when our little 3.0 liter 7s truck has to go up against the 4.0 Liter 7sx's since Sal axed the whole 7s class (note the pride saving excuse).

So as far as cold ones for the DA, I'd be happy to do that, not only because I was wrong about winning, but also because a bunch of guys from Heidi's team that went back into the uruapan silt to rescue some of their chase trucks helped me out at one of those nasty silt hills. They never had to tow or push us, and as a proud racer I have to say we eventually would have made it up on our own, but they stayed with us until we made it up even though they easily could have passed.

My engine kept stalling and then had trouble starting so I'm sure they were frustrated. But we made it up on the 3rd attempt and didn't think it would be a good idea to go back down and thank them. Not sure of any names, but much thanks and respect to you guys!!!!! A cold one on me at Vegas to Reno! I'll be chasing the Synergy/General Tire Class 8 Tundra.

Hopefully after she wins the 7sx champ this year PAB will put Heidi in the TT. Maybe then I'll have a decent chance at winning a race.
