Im on the e-mail list for this. They send out an update just about every week with photos of progress. I cant wait to see it when its done.

This has been in the works for years. One of the principals is a good friend of mine and they have jumped through a ton of hoops to get this done. I am bummed I had to move before they finished it, It would have been 10 minutes from my house. They have big plans for the track and hope to hold races for everything out there. I think that they still plan on having overnight camping with RV hook ups.
Hope it all works out. North County really needs a quality track.

I was by there on Saturday. They are really going at it. Plus it's only 2 minutes from the casino. Hopefully they might think about some sort of play and stay deals there?

They will definately try and incorporate some deals with the casino. Maybe even some races.
