Enclosed scan of my JD Brand "wall-plaque" given out to the 33 competitors who competed in this race. I wonder if there are any other of these left in the world ? Ivan Stuart still have his ?

On my way south to the Baja 500 this year, (by way of TJ) I was telling my friend about this thread I had started, on RDC. He is a big JD Brand fan, as he had owned a JD Brand Ford F-150 race truck 10 years ago, and is still kicking himself for selling it. He told me that he knew of a JD Brand pit support truck, parked, and rotting away in a San Yisidro motel storage lot, and we should stop and see if its still there. It was. Twenty Eight years later, and you can still see the team stripes and lettering on the box.
I went to riverside and all I brought back was a pink visor
Mike, did you buy the support truck?
Off Road Racing & Sex have a lot in common....it's only good if you finish
I used to go on the track and take photos in the mid 80s. I have a big box of photos. Sometime I will have to figure out how to post them. Always a great time at Riverside!

Cool thread! My dad Dan Beaver still has his old JD Brand Heavy Metal plaque shown below. Also, there is another picture from the 1979 Parker 400 4th place and the Colorado 300 in Craig, Colorado September of 1987. Anyone have any plaques dating back to earlier then 1978 that is my dads earliest plaque he has.
