    Helmet Cams

Who uses them and what kind of recorder do you use. I want to be able to switch it between my pre runner and my bike. Weight is not an issue in the car, but I don't want to carry my Disccam on my bike if I don't have to.
    Suggestions?

I have the motocom unit... it's fair... I'm not happy with the pixelation and the result is grainny.. even worse when upgrading to youtube (see below).

here's an example of my work.. thinking of getting a polarized lens cover will work better

Have you seen the Gopro system? They're only 179.00 and we've sold a bunch of them with great feedback..actually better than the feedback on the systems that are closer to $1k.

I used one over the weekend on my bike and it worked great. I post the footage but I had it adjusted too low and you may get sick watching my front fender. GoPro has some samples on their site http://gopro.vsocial.com/

Here's the camera mounted to my helmet-

    Re: Helmet Cams

So people are happy with the GoPro, because I think thats the way i'm going. Just racing on weekends, and most likely use if for the Baja1000. I think i'll just use the helmet mount, maybe mount it to my dirtbike, quad.

How's the durability on the camera, i mean given the conditions of course and use?
