New to the desert thing

Hey, my name is Valorie. I have 2 kids that ride and one that is interested in racing. Just getting started on these forums as a way to maybe hookup with other parents with kids who enjoy riding and also see if I can find some desert racing for my 7 year old. Any suggestions. I would love to hear them all.

I have a 7yr and 9yr. they really enjoy the desert. (when its not too hot)
for family fun we head out to Borrego Springs area because it is not too crowded and a great place to learn.
I also race MDR and SCORE. for the races we do not bring out the kids bikes because its too busy. Unless we pit way off course and off pit row. Good luck. There are always plenty of great desert people always willing to help.
