anyone play this demo yet?

I used to play 1942 and Dezert Combat alot.. its similar, yet different all the same.. I still dont like FPS on a console, but its pretty fun..

I am gonna try the demo tonight on the 360. Desert Combat is still fun as heck on the PC. Those guys did a great job on that mod.

ya DC is one of my all time favs.

give a demo a legitimate shot.. its got upgrades like COD4 but you can pick what to unlock with the credit youve earned. Its a little arcadish.. but overall pretty fun, IMO.

I love how house can becomed demolised and trees can be shot thru and there are actual vehicles you can use!!!

I also love how you can spawn from the main or spawn where ever your squad leader is...

the only thing I cant seem to figure out is how the heck do you parachute out of the chopper? you can get out.. but if your not on the ground your screwed. I guess thats how it really is.. but, atleast DC you could bail out lol

idk how but my brother bailed out and sirvived, but don't jump while not moving. or your chopper will slam into you and kill you. lol.
i know from experience.

maybe it's the top button. triangle on PS3 i think.

Lol, me too. Been playing for the last couple of nights. This one is a keeper. Much better than the BF2 console version. The weapons selection and trying to swap a gun for a grenade is a bit slow. Overall it looks to be an awesome game. Im gonna get it.

The only problem I see right now is the weapons don't have enough power in them! I love being a sniper and I got the unlock for the laser guided bomb binoculars and After I get lock and I start guiding the bomb down the damn thing can land right to the side of the tank and still not hurt it! Another thing is I also got the unlock for the mortar strike and I can call the strike and the mortar will land everywhere else but where i called it. The triple a gun Does not have enough power also to where I will be shooting at the helicopter and keep hitting it and it will not get shot down! I just hope its like this due to the fact that its a demo and the real game will be better!
