    Re: San Felipe Lodging?

Most every trip I have camped at Club De Pesca, it's just about 1 mile south of the Malecon (downtown), and you can get pretty nice spot, that's paved, has hook-ups, right on the beach, or you can camp on the beach...right on the sand...they've got bathrooms and showers (that are pretty good for mexico)...I've also stayed at the RV campground at the Resort...that was nice if you want to be a little bit outside of town, it's a lot quieter...which can be good or bad depending on what you want.

here's a link to check out...with contact info for a bunch of hotels, campgrounds, etc...

    San Felipe Lodging?

Hey everyone, Where do you guys all usually stay down there? Do you guys hit up a camp ground, Pete's, etc...? Or do you guys get rooms at one of the hotels. I'm planning on going down this year for my 2nd time. Last year we stayed at some guys camp at Pete's but I don't think I'll be able to get in there again so I'm looking for alternatives? If anyone is camping in one of the grounds down there and is looking to get a group together I'm interested. If people are getting rooms it would be cool to get a group together in the same hotel, like the one at the end of the contigency street. Anyone interested? I'm just going down to spectate, drink it up, and party... I'm probably going to head down on Thursday morning and come back Sunday.

I'm assuming reservations are a must... I'm gonna talk to my friend that's going down with me and see what she wants to do. Do most of these places get booked up for that weekend?

You can grab a hut on the beach for real cheap and then they have the showers, food, and a bar on the campground.
