Was curious though about the shock/weight issues, you talk about weight of the shocks but your arms look heavy, what do they weigh? Actually I may be totally off base and they might be lighter then I think. Also consider using some check valves in your lines if you use a cooler to guarantee that you get positive flow.
I think my little 3" tube housing might make the arms look bigger than they really are. Does my rear end make my arms look big
They are probably not the lightest arms, the lower tube is 1.75" x .188 4130 tube, and the side plates are .120 4130 plate. I wanted them to handle rock hits. Also the bucket looks wide, but they are narrower than other arms at the ends. I have seen all plate arms rip apart with rock hits. How much do some of the arms out there weigh? I will weigh mine to compare next time.
You are correct about the recirculator, it would not flow oil without the check valves. I am not worried about the 2.5" shocks, I just may need to work a bit harder with cooling and tuning to balance heat between both the coil over and the bypass. This is not something that many tuners do nowadays, and leaves a lot of room for improvement. If I am wrong I am a Fox dealer, and will just bolt on some badonkadonk shock to get er done!!
