You may have to sign up for a Paypal account but it is FREE and SECURE. As I mentioned, the case will not go anywhere without your help. My mom is 73 and living off borrowed funds. Any assistance will pay for a private autopsy and Attorney's fees. We tried working on this for a year on our own without an attorney but we've faced a wall - literally a brick wall in law enforcement - that we now need legal help and an uproar to the attorney-general so that the case will be opened. UPDATE!!!!!

Off the forum I did a little PMing with Dawn trying to get her the help she needs. My step dad (lawyer) aside from being a clever guy, also has some reach and was able to provide some insight on how to proceed and get her a referral with the right person in her area. There is more than on way to skin a cat when police corruption is involved and she just needed the right contacts. Well, I guess somebody got some things moving from over in Riverside the former case status because there has been a little bit of forward motion. Unfortunately the specifics of their case are off limits but, as things become public information she has kept me informed. Today I heard from her and she asked me to post the following info.

I have been able to file a Writ of Mamdamus. I know it is not perfect but I think we have a door open and a opportunity for justice to prevail. Court on Monday 12/8/08 under Lee Frank.


I found a law that allowed me to file a Mamdamus. I got the reply back from the state for victims funds denied. The reason they had was that they put in the reply was that Nye had participated in a fight. That opened the door for us to file a right to stand as this case was closed exceptionally and never went to any type of court or had zero investigation. The video recording even has Ty stoop down to avoid the video recorder and tell the officers what judo moves he used to choke the old guy, he and the officers laugh. The prosecutor that came to our home where Nye was dead has spent over a hour with Phil Reddish father of the man who attacked Nye. Phil Reddish was just recorded telling the Sheriff he had a friend of DA Rod Pacheco help on what to say to get out of this. Ty Reddish is a trained fighter, and Nye was 68 with 0 fighting history. Two other letters I have about Ty and his combative personality. Lee Frank was there and never saw Nye hit, he was attacked. National Victims' Constitutional Amendment Project
