New Doherty Motorsports class 8
Enclosed couple of photo's taken around July 1st. Construction was started around Jan 1st ('07). After the sale of my old class 8, I spent too much time (a year) helping out other racer friends go racing, and not building my own ! I've been holding off starting this thread, until I had more done. It's been slow going, after working all day, and then spend a few hours every-night out in the shop. No CAD design, no laser-jet cutting, and lots of help from my friends. As you can see the cuts on the glass doors, I had to shorten the TT body, to fit the rule-mandated class 8 wheel-base. Now with the body located, I am busy bending up tubes. I will up-date this thread, as I get more done........

Re: New Doherty Motorsports class 8
As requested, I dug through some of my first photos and came across some
spindal / up-right pictures. I posted that I had to locate the body, to start bending. Well I had to build all the major suspention parts first, to locate the wheels, to locate the body. I will keep posting a few pictures at a time. I also have to Thank my friend Nick Vanderwey, as I used his jigs, and design, to make all my front susp. parts.
