Re: pro am 30 series???
I dont believe they have been "proven" yet. I do not know of anyone having luck with these. NOT SAYING ANYONE ISNT. The desert dynamic "trophy truck/class 1 with truck body" have been either losing retainer clips or CV's themselves. I think the mosebuilt car has been having issues with them also but do not know exactly what is failing with theirs.
I would like to hear somebody that is having good luck with them (actual race team thats using them).
I believe Damon Jefferies uses them and he might be having better luck than the ones I listed. I would contact him.

Pretty sure that AlumiCraft has a set on their latest Grande Pre-runner that is using a built LS7 and Mendeola HD4 which has seen several 1000 miles. Not 100% positive but have not heard any issues related tot he hubs/CV's/boots.
Give John Cooley a call and ask about Butch's car to find out the skinny directly.
One thing I have always heard about Roy is that no matter what he will do what it takes to ensure his product is right in the market place.
If there are any problems my guess is that they have not been brought to Roy.

Re: pro am 30 series???
Jeff Quinn's car runs a size 30 hub. The only issue we have ever had on that car was directly related to inner rubber boots on the plunging axles. The outer hubs were flat out awesome. Lots of angle possible, use of fixed or rotating boots. As for the size 30, I know that the Herman Motorsports hybrid trucks run the Pro-Am size 30 hubs. From minor experience with a car with pro am size 30's, I can tell you the price of the size 30 outers mckenzies beat the pro ams without a doubt . . .
Try em and you'll love them

I heard the Nitro Circus guys had nothing but problems, but then switched over to the McKenzies 30 series hubs (that cost half the price!!!) and are having great luck with them..............

Re: pro am 30 series???
on my class 1 we have had no problems at all with the series 30 hubs and boots. the car has 25 " of travel in the rear. we have 1800 test and race miles and have only changed the boots after san felipe just to change them. since then weve tested, ran the more 500, tested then ran the more night race and also used the car at both of those races to prerun. looking at the boots in the shop ill run them again at our next race. ( either primm or the more race , havnt made up our mind yet. if you wantto stop by my shop anytime and check them out just let me know, barry
