Fastest Qualifier!

With the large amount of entries for V2R in the unlimited classes, who's gonna be the number one fastest come qualifying day?? Gonna be a bit more even now that the trucks and buggies are mixed.

My Guess,
1.#40 Huffman, with Whelchel behind the wheel, Letner 1st 1500. I think with the track conditions later in the day, our fastest guy will probably be a starter in the top 20.

odds have shown the fastest guy almost never wins. As far as I can remember there was only 1 person who won a BITD race from the pole- Mark Weyhrich at the Las Vegas 300 this year. Maybe starting 2nd is not so bad??? It sure will be fun watching everyone go nuts trying for that pole award though.

Depends on the conditions......starting with high visibility is key, but too much emphasis on starting positions may cause probs for the race, or even a dnf. We'll see, I'm pumped!

Heck yea! we have been doing alooot of testing with our new Patton motor with an extra 150 more hp! Hopefully this will help in qualifying, out of the corners faster.

Im pretty sure there's alot of pressure starting from the pole. Seems the fastest qualifier come raceday usually gets a flat shortly after the start or he wrecks. 2nd wouldn't be to bad, just crusin behind the leader waitin for him to make that mistake.
