Anthony Modica needs your prayers

I'm sure most of you heard that anthony's leg was in jeperady and most have heard that they had to take it today. This has been a very rough time for the family and everyone involved, but this had to happen to save anthony's life. Now comes the the recovery and healing of the brain injury. His surgery went well and now the thoughts and the prayers need to keep coming for anthony and his family. They want to again thank you all for all you have done and continue to do for them and anthony. Sorry for the not so good news but this is a reality that nobody should have to0 go through- love you anthony and the entire modica family. Xo

Heart wrenching news. My thoughts for a speedy recovery from this point forward. Anthony is an avid D37 racer, and a well respected rider.

I had dinner up at a fellow club members restaurant (Peppercorn Grille up in Big Bear) on Monday, Mike Hastings who happens to be the owner of the restaurant and a D37 rider also spent a great amount of time with Anthony and Matt Eddy. Shook up everyone involved pretty good.

I have only met Tony once, but he is my cousins bud and I have been praying for him since the start of this.

He is constantly on my mind and heart. Get well Tony.

Tony has a long road. He's a fighter and a true human. He has the greatest family to support him, along with all his friends. Tony is one of those people that doesn't say much till he gets to know you. Very quiet...
I think it might be a great idea for everybody to run a V1 sticker on anything that has to do with racing. He's an ex-10 car and 7s racer from back in the day. I know he's won a coulpe of championships in class 10. So he loves motorsports ,that would mean the world to Tony and the family to show our support for him.

Come on dogg nutts! Lets get this thing kicked!

Anthony is on our minds constantly since V-R race day. Chris and Anthony have become very close friends just this past year. He was at our house picking up the last things for his bike just a few days before the race and getting some last minute advice. It is so heartbreaking. We are having a tough time with this. I can't even imagine what his family must be feeling.

All I know is that we will be with him every step of the way through all of it - getting settled into his new life, and then on to the long road of recovery and rehab. Chris will be there with him through all of it to help him and guide him!
