    max stroke

any ford people here know what the longest/most practical stroke shock that will fit on the stock rear of a f150? I've heard that you can stuff a 10" in, but that seemed like a little too long. My truck still has the stock springs and the 1 1/2" blocks/bumpstops that came with the 4x4s.

Stock rears on older rangers were 10" (not sure about newer). I think 10" sounds about right. Tkae out the stockers and measure - that'll help you decide. Steve
