Evolution Wheel Forged 17 x 9
Evolution Wheel debuted at Primm 300 2008. The wheels were run by Riviera Racing.
Mark Post and Kelly Courie of Riviera Racing ran the wheels while pre-running for the Baja 500 race. While pre-running, Mark slammed a rock and dented a wheel. He knew for sure that he would have broken a cast wheel. Knowing that they were pre-running and the wheel didn’t fall off, they kept on going. They made it back to the hotel on the original set of wheels. Once there, they decided to use a hammer to bend back the wheel … and broke the hammer. Ecstatic with the performance and amazed at the strength, the team decided to use the wheels on their trophy truck.
During the Primm 300, Mark Post and Rob McCachren pushed the truck harder than ever before knowing Primm would be the ultimate testing grounds for the wheels. At one point Rob had two front flats at the same time and did not dent a wheel. He was shocked with the wheel strength and performance and set the fastest lap time.

Very nice, very good looking. This wheel is going to be a far superior wheel to any cast wheel out there. Theres only a couple of other wheels that will match up to this one and that is the Pro Am, Icon, and APP. Alcoa is also but they don't make a beadlock or a beadseat similar to how APP did. Forging is really the way to go and I can't believe that cast wheels are so popular with race teams these days. Walker's are the best cast wheel there is but that is because they are thick and heavy. Gordon/Ultra are not very good rims. A good portion of them are never sold because they don't pass load capacity tests. This info from a guy who isn't known in the off-road industry, but who is very well known in the wheel business.

Hello,
I would agree that the Walker is the Strongest Cast wheel out currently... it is also the heaviest... put one on a scale. 43 lbs... ouch
When you get into Rotational and Unsprung weight Calculations, you will find out that the difference in Acceleration (speed up, slow down, turn and bumps) is the difference of a 80 gallon tank Full (with Walker wheels) and 1/2 full with 29 lb Forged Wheels.

Walkers also have caliper clearance problems on some trucks if you switching wheels. Throwing more material at something is a poor excuse for engineering.

Those are some bad azz looking rims!
