Currie Enterprises to Host King of the Hammers Film Debut on October 2

Hammerking Productions, Inc and Currie Enterprises have announced a partnership that will feature the celebration of 50 years of automotive history and the unveiling of the newest phenomenon to hit the offroad racing scene.

Currie Enterprises will be holding an Open House on Thursday, October 2nd to both celebrate its history and promote its future. Entering its 50th year, the family owned performance parts company is still raising the bar, and will do so by inviting the public to its newly expanded facilities in East Anaheim, CA.

Hammerking Productions is busily preparing for its second annual race through the desert and canyons of Johnson Valley, CA. While all efforts are focused on the 2/27/09 event, October 2nd will also be the debut of the much awaited, WeKoe Films produced, "KOH '08 - The Ultimate Desert Race".

Said Jeff Knoll of Hammerking Productions, "I'm honored to partner with a company the likes of Currie Enterprises. What better way to introduce the world to KOH than with a company who's been racing and winning for 50 years."


Currie Enterpises has been an industry leader in automotive performance parts for 50 years. They specialize in both custom built and OEM replacement drive-train and rear end parts for street, strip, track, and offroad applications.

Hammerking Productions is the promoter of the King of the Hammers - The Ultimate Desert Race. The race, combining open desert racing with technical rock canyons, is held in the Johnson Valley OHV area around the famed Hammers Trails.

Sales have been great, and the reviews have been pretty damn good as well.

Next years event is shaping up to be a dusy. BJ Baldwin, Cam, Pistola, Jefferies, and a few other desert guys are gonna give it a shot this year. Rumor has it Post called in the day after we did our starting order for the Feb 22- 27 event, but he was a day late.
