I loved my 94 KX500. There is a lot of them up here for sale in Utah. I might get another one for the hell of it when I have some extra money (never). Two out of the top three places at the last desert race here in Deta were 2 strokes. I think a KTM 300and a KX250?

I still have my 1986 TRX250R, but..........I may be selling it soon.
I am thinking about buying a new race quad for next year, and I do not have room for a fourth quad, so one has to go.

Re: Are 2strokes alive and well?
I'm going to stop racing my KX500's I guess I was the last die hard in BITD but it was a great 8 years. I will keep my 540 (hits like nothing else can) just for Jawbone. That leaves 2 500s and a huge boat load of spares that will go up for sale shortly. I built quite a collection and I love racing the brutes but every dog has its day. V2R it let me down again it was fun while it lasted and maybe she would have made it but I just did not want to take the chance and sit in the desert. I love the KX500 like no bike I have owned and even as I look to a cage to race in I still think "lets race her one more time".
