Extreme Baja Kart vs. Trophy Kart
I don't know much about the EBK, but have been hearing more and more about them. Can anybody weigh on if they are better, worse, or the same or ??? Any personal experiences like switching from one to the other would be great. Thanks

Re: Extreme Baja Kart vs. Trophy Kart
I agree,I would also go with the EBK,I think that they are better built and with less problems. No going through belts etc..I do like the trophy karts also and think Nestor did something great but just look at the two without there bodies and you can see that the EBK is better built.Plus there is alot more room inside in case we want to drive them when the kids aren't,lol. Not to mention that the EBK comes with a suspension seat. They both race each other and both are comparable in speed so it would honestly be a personnel preference, but for me I will be getting the EBK...

Well I saw the guides and rollers, but I wonder how long the chains will last with all that twist. That's awesome that Nestor figured out how to get articulation for the rears.

Re: Extreme Baja Kart vs. Trophy Kart
chains last a long time. We put over 500 miles on our first Elite before we decided to put a new chain on it. We still have the old chain in our pit bowx as a spare. The secret is not to run an o-ring chain. The chain is too rigid and doesnt allow for articulation. Some of the racers thought they were upgrading by putting o-ring chain on when in fact they was creating a problem because of the mechanics of the rear end. All in all a good motorcycle chain will work great.
