    Question Remember?

The way to make a small fortune in off-road racing is to start with a large fortune!
    Does anyone come to mind?

    Re: Remember?

Every person I have ever met involved in dirt racing. From racers, to crews, to promoters, to us rescue dorks.....We all take the precious dollars we had, and invest it in our addiction....When we get broke, we simply try to find more and do it all over again....

    They will be back.......

    Re: Remember?

a lot of people actually ... its just too bad that things had to get to this point... give it a couple years and they will be back with force!... just remember: absence makes the heart grow fonder !!

ive been wondering .... all of these guys who seem to be having a tough time right now, why dont they just step down to a lower class?? instead of having a helicopter at every race, running the most expensive TT program, having the biggest rig and trailer, the most expensive chase trucks money can buy, biggest shops in town, ect???...i know it's not the same but if they were addicted to desert/short course racing as much as everybody else why dont they get into a limited class and still go out there and have fun??? im not saying they need to get into a 1600 car but even a 10 car, they are fast as hell and you sill wouldn't be spending near as much as a tt program.... i dont know just a thought

i have a feeling we are going to see a lot more cars/trucks being built out of people's garages... those people are still going to have the passion and when everybody gets back on their feet here in a couple years there will be A LOT of different types of cars/trucks out there .

    just my 2 cents

    see ya in the dirt

I think to some of the bigger teams, it's more of a lifestyle than it is a passion.

The bigger teams have been doing a lot of desert racing before most of us "jumped in". The best drivers in our sport came from a motorcycle racing background which often goes unrecognized. And they are driving for alot of "bigger" teams.
