Toyota Race A- arms . Who makes them
Ok, I know this has been talked about before. But mostly for pre-runners.
I need to know opinions on race quality fab. a-arms.
I have (had) the TC 2nd gen. worked great for about 4 races then we started having issues. first a bolt broke, fixed it and finished. then a uni-ball popped out, fixed and finished 4th. now as you can see the whole lower a-arm busted and continued to damage everything, shocks, steering, etc.
My only current thought is to go to the TC gen3. But there has to be others racing with a-arm set up.
see the pictures. And this was from the girls racing in the Powder Puff..

We run the TC gen III kit and have 5 races this year and over 2000 race and test miles, no issues other than driver error. Love the kit.

It is common for parts to fatigue after many miles of hard offroad driving. Since you have been racing (as in pushing the vehicle to/near the limit) it will happen sooner then later.
The suspensions & steering components should be inspected, magd and then repaired if need be during race prep at least 2-3 a year during a full season. taking these precautions will likely prevent cracks to develope into massive suspension failure and devastating down time during a race. This is at the very least.
TC GenIII should be a good upgrade, just be certain to properly maintain those suspension parts or you will likely experience the same situation down the road.

Which gives you more options on the spindles.
The 2WD 4X kits can be had with billet upper arms and spindles with several snout options. http://jdfabrication.com/index.php?o...d=15&Itemid=33
