    Rhino Coolling!

I have a 2006 Rhino with a stock motor and PWR oil cooler and radiator mounted in the stock position, the electric fan is wired to switch in the dash so I know it comes on. Last wekend the Rhino overheated a couple times and I cant figure out why I did a block test to check for blown head gasket and everything checked ok. Any ideas as to why its over heating would be helpfull. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Rhino Coolling!

Update... After installing temp gauge, adding new coolant, PWR radiator and oil cooler, bleeding cooling system to get rid of air, it doesnt have a thermostat. I was out at S22 this weekend and it runs a little cooler around 160 or so but after running down a couple washes full throttle for about 15-20 min it still warms up to about 200. I have been told that 200 degrees is the max temp that they should reach before shutting it down is this true? Anyone else have any suggestions? The abient temp was cool 60 to 70 degrees.

    Re: Rhino Coolling!

I know that the stock fan on ours kicks in around 195-200 in that area.

    Re: Rhino Coolling!

    A few things mabee...

    Carb too lean?

Aftermarket skidplate restricting the air flow to radiator?

My Rhino fan kicks on at 160 degrees and never has got above 185 but my father in law has an aftermarket bumper with a skidplate and it runs about the temp yours does.

Dont know if that helps but good luck anyway.
