Spot Tracker Sites
I think it would be fun to watch everyone's Spot Trackers during the 1000, if you have them. We'll have them on our chase vehicles for our friends and family to keep track of us. What do you guys think? Post your link and I'll post mine!!!
I've also noticed a few folks that won't get to go down to Baja this time offer their watchfull eyes in case there is an emergency. Those folks should speak up here too if they are interested in helping the teams out from home.

Re: Spot Tracker Sites
Unless they changed something recently the sites will die after 500 views which can go very fast if posted here.

Re: Spot Tracker Sites
I will be texting updates to chase trucks for a bike team to let them know their position vs. other people in their class via IRC. Let me know if I can help anybody else.

Not sure. Manual says the logo has to face skyward.

Re: Spot Tracker Sites
Well when the fire melted everything the mount must have loosened and eventually turned down on the bottom side of the tube. I need PAB to chime and send me info to his contact so we can send the device back for analysis.

Re: Spot Tracker Sites
We had one on our car that was given to us before the start. I had one on me personally as well. I noticed that both lights were not blinking when we finished. We had some problems and came in way late...the problem is that they are only programmed to stay in 10 minute tracking mode for a 24 hour period....that is something that needs to be addressed if the Spot Trackers are to be used in events like this.
