I was up there shooting video when the fire came through. The fire department did an excellent job saving everything in Chino Hills. There were some pretty scary moments. Fortunately they were able to get the resources and strike teams into the neighborhoods. When the fire arrived there was a wind shift and it began backing down on some of the homes on Misty Canyon dr.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who lost homes in Corona, Brea, Yorba Linda and Anahiem Hills.

I took a few pictures today as one of the Fire Helicopters was filling up their water tanks in the lake at the Birch Hills Golf Course in Brea.

All freeways open this morning with the exception of a few offramps on the 91 and 57. Oh, and Carbon Canyon Rd SR 142 is still closed.
