8 into 1 exhaust

I'm looking for some pictures or possible websites that might have some more info about building an 8 into 1 exhaust system. I've searched for 2 days throughout the net and have found 1 decent picture and 1 thread which was here. Looking to do something similiar to this on my 2006 5.3 l33 motor in my new rockracer. The rest of the drivetrain is a Hughes th350 and Atlas 3.0. The motor has a performance tune to it from Jims Performance. Roughly about 350hp.

From the limited info I have gathered on this, the gain can be very limited if not any. Unless, each primary length is calculated to the collector, not necessarily equal length. I have heard of gains, but only when someone can tune, experiment, and dyno the set up. Unless it is for looks or the unique sound, usually the 8-1 becomes challenging due to space requirements. I havent seen a dyno comparison yet on the 8-1 versus 2 fours with an h tube cross over. But they sure do sound incredible like the old Duralast truck.

the sound is awesome no doubt. looking for a little more top end. would be nice to have the low end of the l33 truck motor and top end with the 8-1.
