ADHD sufferer requires Millenium.
I've won the New Zealand overall championship this year with a single seat mid engined Jimco that we built up at the beginning of the season. However being as easily distracted as I am I want to have a crack at the Millenium and attempt to make the car perform as it should have.
As there is no longer a "wanted" section in the classifieds I have been forced to post here.
I wondered if anyone had any leads on a Millenium rolling chassis for sale. I state rolling as engine regulations are a little more open to FI here as such I intend to run a V6 twin turbo (as my Jimco does).
Cheers, Daniel.

Hey Daniel, why don't you post up a video with audio so we can see and hear what a twin turbo V6 Jimco is all about. We are deprived of such pleasurable noises on our race tracks.

Re: ADHD sufferer requires Millenium.
I would do, however the season has been so muddy the only time I've had the in car cameras on I found out that the internal mics are totally useless. They pick up chassis vibrations and all you hear sounds like a radio picking up noise from a bad HT lead.
Externally it sounds nothing like being in the car, the orchestral turbo noise is dulled so all you hear is the 6 firing and a slight spooling whistle.
I'm short shifting in this video (overheating again),

You'll note it's short course, we have to compete in both short and endurance courses in the same car in order to compete for national points. The Jimco is obviously setup for endurance, but can hold its own against considerably lighter cars in short course.

Re: ADHD sufferer requires Millenium.
I don't think people invested in a Millenium with the idea of not "really trying to make" it work. I do have a couple of big advantages though. The terrain here isn't as consistently lumpy as the US, and I don't have any restrictions on turbos. It means I don't have the same issues in regards to shock tuning (just sway problems) and I have big V8 power from a little V6. There is the problem of dragging all the weight of a desert car in what is essentally short course action, but the Jimco works reasonably well, given a dry track.
