Just introducing myself
My name is Jeff and I live in Alaska. I think living in Alaska is one reason I'm in love with the desert, it's just about as far on the other end of the spectrum as you can get, climate and geography wise.
I've been interested in desert racing since the 7th grade (I'm 42 now) but never took any steps to get involved.
I changed that last week, I went to Baja and drove chase truck for Snortin' Boar Racing (202X). We all had a good time, and watching the team finish the race gave me further incentive to build a truck and get more involved.
I have a '93 4x4 Ranger that I may build, unless I can find something to buy.
I've lurked on here a little in the past but never joined until today. I have the 2000-2005 edition of the SCORE rule book, and a ton of questions. Just point me towards the research section and I'll be happy.
