according to Pistola, someone does....
it just makes you think ... does robby have too much going on in his life (i.e...Dakar, NASCAR...) to win big races anymore??...it seems like he just has so much going on and he doesn't prep for races such as baja like he used to.....just my opinion
sorry didnt mean to get this thread off topic!

Re: Robby Gordon Crash Photo
I don't know how off-topic it is considering the pics that started this thread are of the TT on it's side....
I think it has a lot to do with a lot... I know that's deep.
1: The technology and competition is catching up/has caught up. RG has had some revolutionary outside the box ideas that he has put into trucks to go really fast.... Problem is, he doesn't exactly have a corner on that market anymore and most of his time/energy/money/R&D go into getting his Cup program faster so he can continue to pay the off-road bills.
2: I kind of alluded to it, agree with you GunnSlinger.... he has a ton going on. RG can be very personable and can be a pretty fun guy to hang around with- But don't expect that when you meet him at a public event. He has 2 monster businesses that the buck stops with him for the bills, performance, employees, keeping sponsors happy.... Now, I don't care who you are, but when you have that much on your mind and you're rarely in the same timezone longer than 3 days.... You are going to be frazzled- And I think that difference shows up compared to guys like Rob Mac/Jerry Welchel/ Larry Roesler that get paid to pre-run and show up and drive.
Just my .02..... I have more change in my pocket, but that's all I care to throw out there for now....
.....except that I am still a huge RG fan and he is one of, if not THE MOST talented drivers in the world.... still including Baja- After all, he is still always a threat when he shows up.
