Well I understand that most people probley cant do it without getting distracted but where do you draw the line as far as making laws. I could see this law over the no talking one, that one is just ridiculous.

I'm more worried about the people you see putting on their makeup or reading the newspaper on their steering wheel. Though I have gone a few miles while typing a text message and after it was sent had no recollection of driving that part of the freeway lol

yeah it sucks but while i know i can text and drive fine; i don't know that the idiot next to me can; so i can't say i'm really that pissed.

i usually don't text and drive. I frequently use the GPS in my phone while driving. I hope that remains legal.

me too! i have all the buttons memorized so i don't even have to look at it while i'm texting...just while i'm reading. but i can multi-task like no other!

FINALLY! this law sucks if I had my old phone but I seriously suck at driving and texting with my new touch phone

It doesn't matter, have you noticed what a big difference the no cell phone law worked? I see people on their phones just like any other day

Most people THINK they are doing fine. Ride shotgun with someone who is doing it and see for yourself how much they are really paying attention. Put all the BS away and just drive the F'n car already.
