Limit Straps
Okay, here's a question....
I've read on the board that limit straps will stretch about 1" per 12" of strap...
Does this mean over time they get a little bit longer...
Or does this mean that this is how elastic they are every time they strech...?
I am remounting limit straps that have been in use for a while, so they should have streched some by now. They are 18 inches long, and holding the weight of the the front suspension (heavy cuz of 4x4) they leave exactly 1" of shock extension...
IS THIS ENOUGH???
thanks, Jaron

Re: Limit Straps
that is the amount that the strap will strech when your suspension springs to droop. The amount of strech also depends on how many wraps are in the strap. a quadruple rap will strech less that a double rap
